“ am a regular customer of Sowji’s Kitchen and have tried most of the items on their menu. Here is my review for them. Tomato Bajji Mixture – Good, but could have been a bit more tangy and spicy. Paneer Fried Noodles –Very tasty and perfect. Cut Mirchi Bajji – Excellent, really enjoyed it. Punugulu – Very good, but the chutney could have been better. Peanut Mixture (Palli Mixture) – Very tasty, loved it Tea – Perfect, just like Irani Chai. Dessert – Double Ka Meetha – Not worth it, disappointing. Gulab Jamun – Average. Chicken Dum Biryani – Good. Mutton Dum Biryani – Average, the pieces felt a bit hard. ”
“ Authentic Hyderabadi food — everything tasted amazing! We tried the fried rice, Mirchi bajji, bonda, and a few proper Hyderabad-style tiffins, and they were all perfect. Pavan was sweet and suggested great dishes. Loved both the food and the service!” ”
“ This place is a Secret GEM in Scarborough, I was just walking after my Walmart shopping and I accidentally stumbled upon this establishment as just wanted to give it a try, So I tried the Irani chai my God I have never tasted a tea so deliciously made with heart as I am a avid chai drinker and have tried at many places. Secondly I wasn't hungry so I took a parcel of their Chicken 65 Biryani, Again out of now where did they blow my mind with the quality and so tasty Biryani that has been long time that was so authentic and flavorful made with so much care and passion. I strongly suggest everyone in Scarborough to try out this place to know what genuine food quality and taste mean and even the service is on par. Thanks to the team of Sowjis to make it possible to the community Good luck all the best guys. ”
“ We regularly visitSowjis Indian Cuisine, and it’s always a delightful experience! Our favourites are the Mirchi Bhaji and Chitti Punugulu — both are super tasty, flavorful, and absolutely mouth-watering. The portions are generous, and the chutneys (both tomato and coconut) perfectly complement the dishes. Whenever the weather is pleasant or we crave authentic Indian snacks, Sowjis is our go-to spot. The taste and quality never disappoint — highly recommend this place for all Indian street food lovers! ”
